Dogs Finding Dogs

Posting fliers around town or even having a micro identification chip doesn’t always bring back home your beloved family dog. That is part of the reason a group of volunteers got together and created the group “Dogs Finding Dogs”.

Dogs Finding Dogs is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization of highly trained handlers and dogs that can track and find a lost pet. When they take on a missing pet case, they stay with you until your pet is found. They never turn down a plea for help!

Dogs Finding Dogs main goal is to reunite you with your pet as soon as possible. The program utilizes various methods to get the job done. The dogs used to locate missing dogs are highly trained on a multiple amount of surfaces and conditions. The dogs on the Dogs Finding Dogs team have helped aid the police in tracking persons in connection with a crime and lost pets with full recovery of the animal.

  1. What a wonderful idea. We lost a dog while camping a couple of years back. We never did find him and a group such as this probably could have located him for us. I think about patches often and hope he found a good home with a loving family.

  2. I wonder why someone didn't think of this long ago. Dogs have been using their keen sense of smell for human rescue for a very long time.

  3. Who better to look for a lost dog? There are search and rescue teams all over the world looking for people. Makes good sense to me.
