Throwing a Dog Birthday Party

You love your dog so much you want to throw him a dog birthday party. To throw a dog birthday party you will need to send out invitations. You may want to invite your family and/or those with dogs. You may invite the owner as well as the dog if you would like.

To make invitations buy tan construction paper. Cut the tan construction paper in the shape of a dog bone. Let people know the date of the dog birthday party, time, address, who is invited and that it is actually a dog birthday party. You may want invited guests to RSVP.

If you are celebrating outdoors in the summer you can set up small plastic children’s swimming pools. The dogs can enjoy a cool dip in the swimming pools while the owners have a good time watching them.

You may have doggie treats for your dog and the dog guests. (Make sure you talk to the owner before you feed their dog any food.) It would be fun for the owners of the dogs to have a birthday cake. Make the birthday cake in the shape of your dog or a dog bone. The best birthday cake to make is a marble cake so you please everyone at your dog’s birthday party.

Have balls at the dog birthday party so the dogs can have a fun time. You can buy some dog toys for all of the dogs to play with. You may even want to buy a toy for each of the dog guests as a party favor.

When throwing a dog birthday party the most important thing is that you, your dog and all of your guests, whether furry or not, have a great time!

  1. I do not have any children yet so a dog b-day party is perfect! My friends will bring their dogs and they all can play together. I like the idea of the dog bone cake. :)

  3. I am throwing a dog b-day party for the first time tomorrow. It is so much fun to plan. There will be 7 other dogs attending! Can't wait to see how excited my dog is--she loves playing with other dogs.
