The American Kennel Club recently released its annual ranking report of the most popular purebred dogs. Guess who pulled first place again, making it 19 continuous years in taking the title as most popular dog in the USA - the Labrador Retriever.
The 2009 rankings go as followed.

Labs are good dogs. I have 2 blacks. They are gentle with the kids and I've never had any trouble with them. They're healthy as horses and are good watch dogs. I really can't think of another breed that I would want instead of the ones I have.
