Yummy Doggie Treats
Hey, everyone has a preference in everything in life, from our clothes to our partners in life to the food we eat. We have our favorite snacks and so do our dogs. The trick is finding your dog’s favorite snack that will make him/her do just about anything to get a treat from you.
Dogs have different tastes and feelings towards different things just like people. Just because your neighbor’s dog loves one certain treat doesn’t mean your dog is going to fall paws over tails in love with it too. The only way you are going to find out exactly what gets your dogs mouth watering is by trying various different treats.
Dog treats come in a variety of styles, taste, textures, smells, and even colors, all things that can sway your dog’s opinion of it. By letting your dog sample various treats you will know quickly what gets his/her tail wagging and taste buds watering. If you have more than one dog, you may find out each has their own particular favorite, which in a way can be a good thing for you ~ they won’t be fighting over each others treats. You know what its like when you have a particular taste for something, and you know you would go to just about any length to satisfy that craving, well in reality, you are no different then your dog. Treat your dog the way you would want to be treated and get them treats they will enjoy.

What a darling picture! I have a small dog and she prefers the big chew toys over the smaller ones that were made for a dog her size. I think its a domination thing with her. Regardless, it's funny to watch her wrestle with that big rubber bone.
ReplyDeleteI used doggie treats to train my dog. He did a great job and quickly learned to bring his leash when he wanted to go outside, sit and shake and roll over. We're starting frisbee lessons now that the weather is getting better.
ReplyDeleteYou'll laugh when you hear this. My dog Woof likes the catnip I leave out for Whiskers. He has a nose for it that just won't quit. Actually, Whiskers will sometimes walk away from it. I swear he's leaving it for Woof.
ReplyDeleteMy Barkey loves his doggie treats. If I forget to get it out after supper he reminds me by sitting up in front of me and batting his eye. It's really too cute for words.
ReplyDeleteMy dog is about the size of the one in the picture and he would surely think he had died and gone to heaven if I gave him a chew bone that big. He loves his doggie treats and I try to give him one or two every day.
ReplyDeleteLOL that is one big bone! My mom made the mistake of giving our dog his treat when he is a good boy and goes to the bathroom. Now the dog barks to go outside---does not go to the bathroom--and expects a treat!
ReplyDeleteDogs deserve treats too!!! All the love they give us--we can show them a little special treatment.
ReplyDeleteOur dog likes the worst looking and smelling treats! You would think he'd like the pretty colored treats without a horrific smell!
