Exercise and Playtime with your Dog
Just like you, your dog doesn’t want to just sit around 24/7. Well, you might, but your dog definitely does not want to. Dogs are active and require stimulation to maintain a healthy disposition. Exercise and playtime give your dog a natural outlet for energy, helps to alleviate boredom, reduces destructive behavior, and help maintains a healthy weight for your dog (dog obesity). The added benefit of exercise and playtime you’re your dog is the human-dog bond.
Just letting your dog run out in the yard does not provide the kind of interactive exercise he needs. Most dogs will not start running around on their own and some dogs require far more than just a daily walk to give them the proper outlet they seek. Play ball or use a rope toy to encourage interactive play. Check out Doggie-Corral for a full line of great dog toys that will give your dog the exercise and playtime it craves with you.

I make sure my dog gets out and plays/exercises 5 x's per week. I want to keep my dog healthy so he lives a long and happy life. Also for my selfishness. ;)
